Renewable Bamboo Cutting Board
Every home chef needs a good cutting board. I hung on to my old wood one for years until it was pretty hacked up. Of more concern, it was probably harboring bacteria despite my best efforts to keep it clean. So, I upgraded to this bamboo cutting board that is made from renewable sources that do not impact native panda species. Even better, it uses formaldehyde-free glue in the manufacturing process and uses no dyes or colors. Bamboo’s inherent hardness also makes it stronger than traditional maple and thus more resistant to bacteria. Just use the recommended oil to keep it in prime condition. I’ve been hacking away on mine and it is in fine shape!
